Through all the bad, we're choosing good
With all the bad news we’re bombarded with daily, it is bound to take it’s toll. What do you do with all this negativity? How do you turn it around? Well, this current administration has been such an affront, we were inspired to shift our focus. Focus on creating what we want, rather than focusing on what we don’t want. How can we create more good in this world? How can we help to create the environment in which we’d like to live? How can we create sustainable situations in which everyone thrives? We came to the conclusion that serving those who work to better our world, would be a step in the right direction.
Our goal is to serve and honor those who:
Embrace diversity and realize the richness that our cultural difference can offer.
Practice inclusivity by including people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those who have physical or mental disabilities and members of minority groups.
Create solutions in our communities which work not just for a few, but for all our citizens.
Utilize social entrepreneurship to develop, fund, and implement solutions to social, cultural, or environmental issues.
Acknowledge that climate change is very real, is a threat to all life on our planet, and taking actions toward reversing these affects.
Create social innovations that aim to meet social needs in a better way than the existing solutions. For example: working conditions, education, community development, or health. With the goal of extending and strengthening civil society.
Pursue profit for purpose via a mission for the common good.
Confront all the ISMS head on, call them out, and offer more harmonious & healthy solutions. (i.e. Sexism, Racism, Ageism, Antisemitism, Classism, Extremism, Authoritarianism, Corporatism, ism, ism, ism)
Explore alternate, sustainable, and egalitarian ways of doing business (i.e. worker-cooperatives, social-cooperatives, producer-cooperatives, consumer-cooperatives, and collectives working together toward a common goal).
Recognize health care as a right for all and not simply another commodity.
Encourage and fund social change-makers to accelerate the rate of change for critical social issues.
Educate and inform to create a more knowledgeable society.
Seek to explore more sustainable ways of life, growth, and development for our towns, cities, states, and country.
Celebrate and recognize the value that the Arts and Culture contribute to people and society,
