NAIFA-Texas

NAIFA-Texas: Professional Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors: NAIFA-Texas’ mission is to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of its members.

NAIFA-Texas Road Show Campaign (aka Mini Legislative Days)

NAIFA-Texas sent two of their members to six different Texas towns to meet with Law Makers for a two week stretch. They asked us to come up with concepts to give the road show event more appeal on social media. We brainstormed some fun ways to make the social media content more engaging and entice membership to follow along during the tour. We made each stop along the tour a fun travel poster graphic, with the primary message of “We’re bringing the Legislature to you!” We used the social media graphics in email blasts, the agenda headers, on Facebook covers, Facebook share graphics, Instagram, LinkedIn shared image, and Twitter photo.

healthy ATX

Healthy ATX: The best thing we can do for ourselves, our family, our economy, and our Central Texas community is to invest in our health. State Sen. Kirk Watson’s plan to achieve “10 Goals in 10 Years” lays out a road map for transformative change in the health of our region.

Doctor Shortage, Stronger Economy, The Silver Tsunami: While not strictly a social media campaign, these infographics were created for a general campaign, to promote establishing a medical school and teaching hospital to Austin, Texas. They were used liberally on several social media platforms.

senator quotes

Senator Quotes: I was beyond incensed by the GOP hypocrisy during the Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh confirmation. Sadly, this happened again with SCJ Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death and SCJ Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation. To direct my rage in a more positive direction, I quickly created these memes to share on Facebook.

Background: In 2016, when conservative SCJ Antonin Scalia suddenly died during Obama's last year in office, Kentucky Republican Mitch McConnell refused to even hold hearings on President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Merrick Garland. This was eight months before the 2016 election. But then, in 2020, when SCJ Ruth Bader Ginsburg suddenly died, Mitch McConnell changed his tune and rammed Trump’s nominee, SCJ Amy Coney Barrett through, one week before the Presidential election of 2020.

The hypocrisy couldn’t be any more blatant. Specifically this quote by Senator Lindsey Graham:
I want you to use my words against me. If there's a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said, ‘Let's let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination.’”
